Closing Note: This week in Johannesburg, South Africa, the United Methodist Global Young People’s Convocation will take place July 18-22. This quadrennial event brings young people and adult workers (approximately 330 of them) for across the world (40 countries) to spend five days together worshiping, learning, developing ways to speak to the whole church, and growing together. We invite you to pray that the participants in this event experience God, grow as disciples, and are inspired to make a difference in our church and world.
